Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Choughs, skylarks and stonechats fly over the coastal heathland of Pembrokeshire National Park. Bats and butterflies flit over the hedgerows rich with wildflowers. Atlantic grey seals sun themselves on the beach whilst dolphins and porpoises play in the waves warmed by the North Atlantic Drift.

A very idyllic scene, but one that can still be seen across Britain’s only coastal National Park, due to the fact that much of it is unspoiled by intensive farming and modern life.

This is to be my next National Park map and I look forward to learning all about its rich and diverse habitats. To find out more about the work that is being done to look after this landscape visit www.welshwildlife.org
